Aliza Jabès, the daughter of a visionary pharmacist persuaded that plants are always at the root of the greatest therapeutic and medicinal discoveries, took from her father the belief that the power of plant is priceless.

Ambition and passion

It all started in 1957, when a Paris pharmacist with a fascination for phytotherapy and aromatherapy founded NUXE. In 1989, Aliza Jabès took over the brand and did her best to revive a pioneering cosmetological concept combining nature, health and beauty.

Its first-born product was a worldwide success

The Huile Prodigieuse® enlightened the year 1992. This divine care was born from the needs of this young mother who was working next to her baby to have a multi-usage and multi-purpose care dedicated to working women such as herself. Beauty editors and women recognized at a glance this dry oil which instantly became the brand’s flagship product. Then other legendary products came along: Rêve de Miel®, Crème Fraîche ® de Beauté, Crème Nirvanesque®

Aliza Jabès’ unchallenged passion for plants combined with a gifted anticipation of women needs allowed NUXE to become a unique brand, with strong beliefs in its roots and authenticity.
The numerous awards received by NUXE over the years are here to tell the tale of a brand integrity praised by both professionals and consumers.
