Araliaceous perennial plant with oval serrated leaves. It is the most renowned herb used in Chinese medicine, which traditionally regarded Ginseng as a magical plant dispending long life, strength and happiness. Ginseng root is collected after 4 years, when active principle concentration is at its peak. It contains many vitamins and minerals, including magnesium, phosphorus, calcium, potassium, silicon, iron, copper, vitamin B and saponosides. Ginseng tones and stimulates skin epidermis.

fruit of a Rutacea tree grown in Asia for over 4,000 years. The origin of the name “grapefruit” is uncertain: some say that its flavour recalls that of grape, while another theory is that grapefruit grows in grapelike clusters on the tree. Grapefruit is either spherical or pear-shaped, it generally reaches 10 to 30-cm diameter and may weigh over 6 kg. Its thick peel is greenish, yellowish or pink and its scent is powerful. Grapefruit Extract is used for its refreshing and stimulating properties.

The Jesuits introduced it to the West in the 15th century. Tea leaves are harvested young and rapidly dried and rolled. Unlike Black Tea, Green Tea is not fermented and hence rich in tannins. Its main constituents are theophylline and theobromine. Green Tea is also rich in caffeine, theine and Vitamin C. It has stimulating, toning, decongesting and fatigue-relieving properties. Guggul has powerful lipo-reducing properties encouraging the elimination of fatty deposits.
