Nelumbonacea water weed considered as sacred in oriental, Buddhist and Brahman regions as well as India’s national flower. Its white-to-pink blossoms are huge and its “fruit” looks like a shower head made of 15 to 20 cells, each enclosing an alkene the size of a small hazelnut. In an appropriate environment (buried in muck), its seeds may germinate over several centuries (up to 1,300 years), hence their average lifetime and incredible reserves.
The sacred lotus extract used by Laboratoire NUXE inhibits fat cell differentiation which thus reduces the formation of mature fat cells. It also preserves the structure of connective tissues on adipose compartments while preventing deformation of upper tissues (dermis and epidermis) conveying the “orange peel” aspect. This property ensures an in-depth “thinning” effect which, combined to the reduced formation of fat cells fights the “orange peel” aspect.
